The Story

In the moonlit vastness of the Thar Desert, light is precious. It is borrowed from fire, reflected by stars, and multiplied through sheesha—tiny mirrors stitched into fabric and memory alike.

Madhu Chandrika—Sweet Moonlight—is Totapari’s homage to this ancient dialogue. Conceived in the historic workshops of Barmer, the collection draws from the lives of nomadic communities who wore the night sky as jewellery.

This is not the fine filigree of palaces. It is jewellery shaped by sand, wind, and wandering—bold, tactile, and unapologetically earthy.

The Craft

Every piece is handcrafted in 925 Sterling Silver, deliberately oxidized to achieve a rich, blackened patina. This darkened surface acts as a nocturnal canvas, amplifying the sparkle of hand-cut mirrors and coloured glass set within.
