As a child, I was always enamoured by jewellery. Over time, I realised that adorning oneself has remained constant across cultures, religions, and history.

Though trained in science, my heart belonged to jewellery, painting, craft, travel, photography, organic food, and gardening. Each discipline quietly shaped my understanding—of materials, forms, composition, and human emotion.

Travel revealed how deeply jewellery is woven into people’s lives across cultures. I discovered its emotional significance—how it touches instinct, memory, and identity.

Finally, I could hold it no more.

Indian jewellery is unparalleled—vintage yet contemporary, rich with motifs like parrots, paisleys, peacocks, temples, lotuses, chakras, and mandalas. Totapari was born to celebrate this sweetness and playful diversity.
