Peacock Pearl Earrings
A plume of oxidised silver curling around a single pearl — the peacock, caught mid-turn.
The whole earring is one continuous curve. The plume rises from the hook, sweeps outward, and closes beneath a pearl held in a small silver claw — with a garnet-red stone set where the eye would be.
Marcasite is set in hundreds of tiny points along the feather, so the sparkle is fine and dark rather than bright. It is the sparkle of old silver, not of a modern stone.
