Styling tips

  • On a sherwani or bandhgala: pin it on the left chest or lapel, where the gold stands out against cream, ivory, maroon and navy.
  • On a blazer: use it as a quiet traditional accent in place of a plain lapel pin.
  • On a saree: pin it at the shoulder or on the pallu border to hold the drape and add a gold detail.
  • On a dupatta: use it on a thick border or heavier fabric, so the drop hangs straight.
  • For festivals: wear it on Janmashtami, Ram Navami, Ekadashi or at family pujas.
  • For grooms and the wedding party: pair it with a cream or ivory kurta set.
  • Keep it on the upper body: the chest or shoulder suits a sacred symbol best.
  • Gold and silver: gift both brooches as a sun-and-moon pair.
  • Match the range: pair it with the gold tilak ring or pendant, but choose one or two pieces at a time so the tilak stays clear.
